Three resources have been prepared by the Diocese of Melbourne for reflection and meditation during Lent and Easter 2014.

The resources — consisting of a series of daily readings for the weekdays of Lent, a course of weekly studies based on the Sunday gospels and daily readings from Palm Sunday to Easter Day, and a leader’s guide — invite participants to read the Scripture text, reflect upon it, and respond to God in prayer, and then remain in the presence of God before returning to everyday life to act upon what has been read.

This method is based on the traditional method of Lectio Divina, or “sacred reading”.
