Ridley Melbourne is a leading evangelical college that provides training for Anglicans and non-Anglicans, for both church-based and para-church ministry. We have been equipping students for 100 years.

Ridley is a mid-sized theological college. This means we are big enough to offer a high quality faculty with specialist expertise, excellent facilities, a large library that is constantly updated, and a wide range of subject choice. But we are small enough that new students are not overwhelmed, there is a close community life, lecturers are accessible and students receive strong mentoring and support.

Ridley is implementing a renewed vision for theological education in the 21st century. At the heart of this vision is the development of six learning communities which provide world class training in specialist fields, including Missional Leadership, Cross-Cultural Mission and Anglican Ordination.

Ridley is a community, and so it is about the people – those who learn, those who teach, the wonderful staff who keep things running, and the board who provide vision for the college. These people make the Ridley community a secure, challenging and fun place of learning that not only teaches you great stuff, but forms you as a Christian person.

Ridley has a 'mixed faculty' with each member bringing specialist knowledge, experience and skills to our students. All have church ministry experience, some write major commentaries, others speak on significant platforms in Australia and overseas. Every member of faculty is dedicated to our students' learning, is accessible and offers students strong mentoring and support.

Study full-time or part-time, day or evening, on campus or by distance. Courses range from a one year Graduate Diploma, three year Bachelor of Ministry, Bachelor of Theology and Master of Divinity. We also offer other graduate courses including MA, MTh and ThD. Our courses are accredited by the Australian College of Theology and fee-help is available to eligible students.

Ridley recognises that our graduates need the cross cultural skills of missionaries even if they travel no further than to the suburbs of Melbourne. We ensure that our graduates have the self-awareness, cultural appreciation, theology and ministry skills to meet the challenges of mission in post-Christian Australia as well as overseas.
