The Most Reverend Dr Ric Thorpe was installed as the Archbishop of Melbourne and Metropolitan of Victoria on 30 November 2025. Prior to this, he was the Bishop of Islington, Diocese of London, a special episcopal role overseeing church planting in London and implement church planting initiatives throughout the Church of England.
Bishop Genieve Blackwell became a deacon in 1993 in the Diocese of Sydney (serving as Assistant Minister in the parish of St Andrew’s Riverwood). She was ordained as a priest in the Bathurst diocese in 1998 (serving in Gulgong and Grenfell) and consecrated Bishop in the Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn in 2012.
Bishop Paul Barker trained as an actuary before studying theology at Ridley College, Melbourne. He graduated in 1989 and was ordained deacon and then priest in Melbourne in 1990.
Bishop Alison serves as Assistant Bishop in the Diocese of Melbourne. Her ministry has included parish leadership, episcopal ministry, theological education, governance, redress, professional standards, conservation and organisational leadership.
