The Most Reverend Dr Ric Thorpe was installed as the Archbishop of Melbourne and Metropolitan of Victoria on 30 November 2025. Prior to this, he was the Bishop of Islington, Diocese of London, a special episcopal role overseeing church planting in London and implementing church planting initiatives throughout the Church of England.
