Bishop Ben serves the Episcopal Area of Nunawading, which includes churches and communities across Melbourne’s eastern and inner south-eastern suburbs and Bayside. 

Before becoming Bishop of Nunawading, he served as Vicar of TIMA Anglican Parish and Canon to the Archbishop for Multicultural Ministry and Coordinator of Chinese Ministry. Under his leadership, TIMA developed into a parish serving four ministry centres, with English-, Mandarin- and Cantonese-speaking congregations. His ministry has also included evangelism, church planting and revitalisation, clergy mentoring, coaching and theological education. 

He is committed to evangelism rooted in relationships and Christian community. He works with the area’s archdeacons, clergy and lay leaders to encourage healthy churches, cross-cultural mission and faithful Christian witness throughout the area.
